Spending Limit Validation in Checkout V2

Marketplace users are now notified for purchases made with the self-serve checkout (V2) and opportunity flows, when they exceed a pre-defined spend limit. We have implemented a validation in these purchase flows, which is triggered whenever the daily or 30-day spend limits are crossed.

Only Marketplace managers can configure these spending restrictions.

Feature enablement

This enhancement is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

Setting enablement

Marketplace managers must configure the settings for this feature here: Marketplace > Settings > Billing Functionality > Purchase Restrictions.

Company-level spending limit settings must be configured here:

Go to Marketplace > Operations > Companies. Select a company, and then click Settings > Spend Limit.
